WHAT IS TED X ?
TEDx is a grassroots initiative born from TED’s mission to explore and share “ideas worth spreading.” It brings the essence of TED to local communities worldwide through independently organized TEDx events. These events are driven by passionate individuals who aim to uncover fresh ideas and share cutting-edge research that inspires dialogue within their communities. TEDx events feature live speakers and recorded TED Talks and are independently organized under a free license provided by TED. While TEDx events operate independently, organizers commit to following the TED format and receive guidance on curation, speaker coaching, and event management. They learn from TED and each other, with over 3,000 events now held annually.
